Accountant – Corporate Finance

About the role

Natixis Portugal is looking for a motivated Accountant to join its Finance team. You will support the preparation of corporate accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Check, record and process capital and operating expenditures.
• Book and control accruals and pre‑payments.
• Manage the expense claim process.
• Participate in the production of periodic corporate accounts.
• Perform accounting and bank account reconciliations.
• Maintain the fixed‑assets register.
• Ensure accurate posting of general expenses in the accounting system.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management.
• 1‑3 years of experience in AP / General Accounting.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS/GAAP.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations (VAT).
• Strong analytical, communication and deadline‑driven skills.
• Proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).
