Academy Training Coordinator

About the role

The Academy Training Coordinator supports Walmart associates by delivering and managing training programs at the San Juan Supercenter. This full‑time, onsite role ensures that employees receive the knowledge and skills needed to provide excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct training sessions for cashiers, customer service staff, and self‑checkout hosts.
• Maintain training records and track associate progress.
• Collaborate with store leadership to identify training needs and develop curriculum.
• Provide on‑the‑job coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Detail‑oriented with good organizational skills.
• Experience in a retail or customer‑service environment is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using basic computer applications for scheduling and record‑keeping.
