Validation Engineer – eBike

About the role

As a Validation Engineer in Bosch's eBike team, you will ensure the mechanical reliability of next‑generation eBike components such as display units, remote controls and sensor modules. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to turn product concepts into robust, mass‑production ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and test mechanical parts and assemblies for eBike displays, remote controls and sensor modules.
• Drive the reliability testing process from requirement analysis and concept testing through to final release for mass production.
• Translate product requirements into mechanical design improvements and detailed technical drawings.
• Coordinate with production plants and suppliers to secure standards for large‑scale manufacturing.
• Represent validation and reliability within cross‑functional project teams and support testing activities at production sites.
• Collaborate with international eBike development sites, sharing expertise and aligning test specifications.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in development, testing and industrialisation of complex consumer electronics, automotive components or outdoor‑rated consumer products.
• Demonstrated experience in validation and reliability testing of mechanical systems.
