Commodity Buyer

About the role

Join ERMI SERVICIOS, part of the Kestrel Vision Group, and help drive supply chain performance in an international industrial environment. As a Commodity Buyer you will ensure material availability while optimizing purchasing costs and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities through a total‑cost approach, including supplier negotiations, cost‑reduction initiatives and resourcing strategies.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships by sourcing new suppliers and markets, allocating contracts with internal stakeholders, and monitoring supplier performance and risks.
• Ensure supply availability by managing replenishment orders, building supply plans based on demand forecasts, tracking delivery deadlines, and minimizing stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Support business growth by analyzing supplier quotations and cost structures, contributing to purchasing strategy implementation, and handling a challenging purchasing portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven background in purchasing and supply‑chain environments, preferably with an industrial portfolio.
• Experience with ERP systems; AX Dynamics is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working in an international environment.
• Autonomous, proactive, well‑organized and fluent in Portuguese with good English communication skills; French is a plus.
