Transition Manager – IT Services (Lisbon)

About the role

As a Transition Manager you will lead the structured migration of IT services to EnBW's new Tech Hub in Lisbon. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure a smooth hand‑over, maintain service continuity and embed best‑in‑class transition practices.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute transitions of IT services using defined frameworks and playbooks.
• Coordinate all phases – preparation, shadowing, reverse shadowing, cut‑over and hyper‑care.
• Organise knowledge transfer between existing delivery teams, external suppliers and Lisbon‑based teams.
• Ensure operational readiness (documentation, access, processes, ownership) of transitioned services.
• Identify and mitigate transition‑related risks to protect service continuity.
• Contribute to the improvement and scaling of transition frameworks, templates and governance.
• Support greenfield setups where new services are built directly within the Lisbon hub.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in transition management, service delivery or technical project management, preferably in outsourcing/insourcing environments.
• Strong understanding of IT service delivery models, IT operations and software development environments.
• Experience working in complex enterprise or multi‑vendor settings.
• Familiarity with agile delivery setups.
