Trainee IT Support Specialist (Remote, Portugal)

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a motivated trainee to join its IT Support team. The position is fully remote and open to candidates already residing in Portugal. You will assist clients across various sectors, providing first‑line technical help while developing your IT knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email or chat and resolve basic technical issues.
• Document incidents and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with the setup, configuration and maintenance of computers and standard software.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot more complex problems.
• Maintain a customer‑oriented attitude and ensure timely communication.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (mandatory) and good English communication skills.
• Strong interest in technology and a proactive learning mindset.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a remote team.
• Currently residing in Portugal.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Familiarity with operating systems.
• Experience with common software applications.
