Team Lead People Operations

About the role

As the Team Lead for People Operations in Europe, you will steer the day‑to‑day delivery and development of the People Operations EU team. You will act as a trusted advisor to the CHRO and senior leaders on complex people topics while ensuring compliance with EU labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the People Operations EU team: set priorities, distribute workload, develop talent and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Provide senior‑leadership advisory on labour‑law, compliance and sensitive people matters across EU entities.
• Own core operational processes including payroll, contracts, onboarding, off‑boarding, mobility, audits and labour‑law compliance.
• Manage external providers such as payroll partners, legal counsel, benefits vendors and EOR providers, with structured performance evaluation.
• Continuously improve and resolve open HR topics across countries, applying strategic prioritisation.
• Define and execute the future vision for People Operations, leveraging platform management and AI‑driven automation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of HR/People Operations experience with strong focus on EU compliance and labour‑law expertise.
• Proven experience leading or managing a team, driving engagement and development.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on complex, sensitive issues.
• Strong judgment, clear communication and influence at senior level.
• Experience designing and improving HR processes across multiple jurisdictions.
