Talent Acquisition Manager – Back-Office & Coordination

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, tech‑savvy Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our Back‑Office & Coordination team at AMGEN’s Lisbon office. In this role you will oversee the operational side of hiring – from interview scheduling to post‑offer activities and onboarding – ensuring a seamless, efficient, and compliant candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition Coordination and Back‑Office team, providing timely support for all hiring operations.
• Optimize processes for interview scheduling, offer generation, background verification, and hiring documentation.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on hiring and onboarding best practices, ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
• Identify and remove operational bottlenecks, standardize procedures, and drive automation where possible.
• Collaborate with global Talent Acquisition leaders and cross‑functional partners (Legal, HR Ops, Compliance) to align systems and practices.
• Maintain data integrity in applicant tracking and onboarding systems; work with HRIS/IT on enhancements and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to hiring stakeholders on operational excellence and compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and service‑level agreements, delivering regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading recruitment operations or coordination teams.
• Strong understanding of hiring workflows, compliance requirements, and onboarding processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders globally.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience tracking and reporting recruitment metrics.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
• Proficiency in process automation tools and data reporting.
