Systems Administrator (Storage)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator (Storage) to join our dynamic infrastructure team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our enterprise storage environment while working in a hybrid (50/50) model.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise storage platforms such as NetApp, Dell Isilon, and Hitachi VSP.
• Manage NAS storage environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure and support SMB Windows shares integrated with DFS and Active Directory.
• Administer and troubleshoot NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe storage protocols.
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage‑related incidents and infrastructure issues.
• Automate operational tasks using shell scripting, Python, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Systems, and Network teams on strategic projects and platform improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in storage administration within enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one of the listed storage technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
