Statutory Consolidation & Reporting Analyst (French Speaker)

About the role

The Statutory Consolidation & Reporting Analyst will provide financial insights, analysis and reporting to support strategic decision‑making across the organisation. Working from the new Finance Shared Services Center in Lisbon, the analyst will collaborate with finance, operations and executive teams to coordinate, consolidate and report group financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to quarterly and annual consolidation processes in line with IFRS standards, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations, confirm balances, investigate mismatches and ensure timely resolution.
• Lead the FRS 16 workstream, guaranteeing consistent reporting of subsidiaries in the VIA reporting solution and reconciliation at the consolidated level.
• Support preparation of consolidated financial statements, regulatory reports, notes to accounts and disclosure schedules.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, IFS requirements and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with local finance teams, controllers, auditors and other stakeholders to resolve reporting queries.
• Assist the monthly accounting close process and analyse financial trends, variances and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Fluent French speaker with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in statutory reporting, consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards and lease accounting (FRS 16).
• Ability to work with international finance teams and handle complex reporting queries.
