Software Application Developer (Remote)

About the role

GBT Solutions is seeking a senior Software Application Developer to join its remote team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining high‑quality applications for the NCIA product line, collaborating with product managers and technical leads in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality code for new features and user stories.
• Refactor and optimise existing functionality.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests.
• Follow coding standards, architectural patterns, and quality gates.
• Participate in code reviews and support QA activities.
• Prepare and support test events with users and stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation (API definitions, README, architecture notes, wiki pages).
• Update task/PBI status in Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with the NCIA product manager and technical lead during Agile ceremonies.
• Provide monthly Delivery Acceptance Sheet (DAS) reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years with C#.
• Strong ASP.NET web development experience (3+ years).
• Angular frontend experience (3+ years).
• Recent hands‑on C# project within the last year.
• Solid experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Strong SQL Server / PL‑SQL skills.
