Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Remote Build)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a next‑generation platform that powers AI‑driven services for global employment infrastructure. The role is fully remote, based in Portugal, and focuses on building reliable, scalable, and secure cloud‑native systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Build and operate observability stacks, including monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Lead incident response, post‑mortems and continuous reliability improvements.
• Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure and operational workflows.
• Analyze performance and cost metrics to optimise cloud spend and system efficiency.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce operational toil and improve engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and security teams to enhance APIs, deployment pipelines and developer experience.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Systems Engineering.
• Proven track record operating production systems at scale in cloud environments.
• Ability to own reliability end‑to‑end and work autonomously.
