Senior Project Manager

About the role

KCS IT is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross‑functional and technical projects for a variety of clients. The role is fully remote within Portugal and combines strategic planning with hands‑on delivery using both Agile and Waterfall approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication with senior stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Deliver projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting the approach to client needs.
• Prepare and present status reports, dashboards and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including technical and cross‑functional projects.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and multi‑million‑euro budgets.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese and based in Portugal.
