Senior People Generalist

About the role

ICEYE is looking for a Senior People Generalist to be the primary face of People Operations in Portugal. You will tailor global HR frameworks to local needs, supporting both a fast‑growing software and AI team and a satellite production facility.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for employees on benefits, policies, onboarding, relocation and off‑boarding.
• Prepare local employment contracts and ensure compliance with Portuguese employment law.
• Manage third‑party HR providers such as payroll vendors and benefit brokers.
• Handle standard employee‑relations cases and coordinate with Global HR Operations on complex issues.
• Audit payroll data in the HRIS, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure data privacy compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese employment legislation, especially for industrial sites.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global HR teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English (and Portuguese).
