Senior Information Security Specialist – Cloud & SaaS Security

About the role

Euronext is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist to strengthen its cyber security capabilities for European capital markets. Based in Porto, you will design, implement and maintain security controls for cloud and SaaS environments, ensuring protection of internet‑facing assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments, focusing on SaaS solutions, Microsoft and AWS.
• Assess and mitigate internet‑facing vulnerabilities, including DNS security and web application exposures.
• Conduct security testing using the OWASP framework and industry best practices.
• Support security governance aligned with Euronext’s culture, principles and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security into new and existing solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring on security controls and risk mitigation.
• Participate in incident response and vulnerability management processes.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in information security with hands‑on experience in AWS security controls, DNS and internet‑facing vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in security testing frameworks, especially OWASP, and familiarity with penetration testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of security governance, risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with security incident response and vulnerability management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, international environment.
• Minimum five years of relevant information security experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field; certifications such as AWS Security, CISSP or OSCP are a plus.
• Fluent in English.
