Information Technology Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join a project in Porto, working onsite with our local and global teams. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support across Windows and macOS environments, ensuring fast resolution of hardware and software incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, iPhones, tablets and other mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in Windows and macOS, as well as Microsoft Office, messaging and collaboration tools.
• Support in‑house and third‑party applications, logging and managing tickets with ITSM tools.
• Assist with Microsoft OS build, deployment and configuration activities.
• Maintain clear communication with users and client staff, adapting to different communication styles.
• Prepare accurate reports, documentation and meeting minutes.
• Prioritise workload independently and contribute to project‑related tasks while supporting a high‑tempo production environment.

Required profile

• Degree or professional training in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Level 1/2 desktop support, preferably in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Fluent English (B2+ level) – mandatory.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
