Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to work closely with senior leaders and employees in Lisbon. In this hands‑on role you will shape the people agenda, strengthen engagement and support the business through growth and change.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to translate priorities into effective people strategies.
• Act as a trusted HR advisor on employee relations, performance, talent and organisational topics.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent development and retention initiatives.
• Coach managers on leadership, performance management and employee engagement.
• Use HR data and insights to identify trends, anticipate challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Support organisational changes, business transformations and restructuring initiatives.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote an inclusive, high‑performing workplace.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development and other HR teams to deliver an excellent employee experience.
• Ensure HR practices align with company policies and local employment legislation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in an international or fast‑paced organisation.
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence business decisions.
• Deep knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management and organisational development.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Good understanding of Portuguese employment practices and legislation is highly valued.
