Senior Cyber Security Officer – Security Architecture & Risk

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Officer to join an international environment focused on security governance, risk management, and secure technology transformation. The role will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to embed security‑by‑design across initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity advisory to IT and business stakeholders.
• Review security deliverables and ensure alignment with corporate security and risk management standards.
• Evaluate risks and define security solutions, tools, and processes for projects.
• Analyze complex security scenarios in project and operational environments.
• Support the implementation of secure architectures aligned with enterprise guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to strengthen the security posture.
• Promote security‑by‑design principles across technology initiatives.

Required profile

• Academic background in Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure architecture.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks (ISO/IEC 27000 series, ISO 27005, ISO 31000).
• Experience with cybersecurity risk assessment and governance.
• Knowledge of cloud‑based architectures and security principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments is a plus.
