Senior Analytics Engineer

About the role

Dashlane is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join its Data & Analytics team in Lisbon. You will act as a strategic partner, turning data into a product that drives business decisions for a fast‑growing B2B/B2C SaaS company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and own end‑to‑end data models in a dbt‑powered Unified Data Model, cleaning messy sources such as Salesforce.
• Partner with Product, Go‑to‑Market and other business teams to move from reactive support to proactive, data‑driven insights that influence ARR, NRR and churn.
• Champion a self‑service analytics culture, guiding stakeholders toward scalable Omni dashboards and reducing ad‑hoc requests.
• Implement AI data agents and automation for reporting and alerting, embedding a GenAI‑first mindset.
• Maintain data quality tests, governance best practices and mentor junior engineers to raise the team’s technical bar.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a comparable role.
• Deep expertise in SQL and dbt, with hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade data models.
• Strong strategic business acumen in B2B SaaS, fluent in metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn and product‑led growth.
• Consultative stakeholder management skills, able to uncover true business needs and drive end‑to‑end initiatives.
• Passion for AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) and proven ability to integrate GenAI into analytics workflows.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working autonomously in a high‑exposure environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
