About the role
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests in the restaurant, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This seasonal position runs from April to May 2026 at Four Seasons Lisbon.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain the host/hostess station, set up tables according to party size and guest preferences, and monitor server workload to ensure service standards.
- Answer telephone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant and hotel services.
- Anticipate guest needs, address inquiries or issues promptly, and recognize regular guests by name.
- Inspect daily menus, ensure quality and appearance, and stay knowledgeable about menu items and specials.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
