Safety & Compliance Team Lead

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a Safety & Compliance Team Lead to oversee and develop its compliance team in Porto. You will ensure healthcare professionals meet all regulatory, client and documentation requirements while supporting team performance and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and support team members, setting goals and overseeing daily operations.
• Monitor certifications, training, background checks, vaccinations and right‑to‑work documentation to guarantee compliance before placements.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and drive retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with operational teams across Ireland and act as escalation point for compliance matters.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in operations, customer service, account management or similar.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring or coaching a team.
• Excellent English communication skills (role is fully English‑speaking).
• Commercial mindset with focus on engagement and retention.
• Strong decision‑making, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
