Regional Account Manager - Symantec, Carbon Black, CA

About the role

Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) business is a global technology enablement company that delivers value-added distribution, business consulting and channel enablement services to technology manufacturers and their channel partners serving commercial and government markets. The Regional Account Manager for Symantec, Carbon Black and CA in Portugal owns, drives and expands the sales plan for Symantec's commercial segment, including net-new business, customer win-back and competitive displacement, and supports the country channel team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the commercial new-business sales strategy with end-user prospects, including C-level and senior management relationships
• Manage local execution of EMEA-wide initiatives for each strategic program or market segment
• Support key partnerships to drive new commercial opportunity and coordinate forecasting and pipeline in line with Arrow countries
• Provide sales leadership to Regional VPs, Country Managers and Business Unit Leaders, and manage in-country Business Developers (matrix management)
• Work with marketing to design sales campaigns targeting commercial customer whitespace and develop sales plays to drive product adoption
• Build strong business alignment with key partners and develop robust reporting and forecasting

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT sales
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic sales initiatives and working with marketing on go-to-market programs
• Leadership, team management and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a matrix organization
• Fluent English, strong writing, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of vendor strategy and cybersecurity vendor solutions (a strong asset)
