Lead Development Representative

About the role

Arrow Electronics is looking for a Lead Development Representative for its Porto office. The role supports the company's growth by identifying and engaging potential customers and building a pipeline of new business opportunities. You will conduct market research, qualify prospects, keep accurate customer data and work closely with Arrow's sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective customers and key decision-makers in target markets.
• Carry out outbound outreach by phone, email and other channels to generate qualified leads.
• Present Arrow's products, services and value proposition clearly and compellingly.
• Qualify leads by gathering business information and assessing customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity and lead information in CRM systems.
• Work with Inside Sales Representatives and Field Sales teams to move qualified opportunities forward.
• Support lead generation campaigns through data research, prospect list building and administrative tasks.
• Keep customer and prospect data accurate and up to date.
• Develop sales, communication and product knowledge through training.

Required profile

• College degree preferred, or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Proven ability to handle large volumes of information efficiently; previous prospecting, lead generation or customer-facing experience is an asset.
• Fluency in English and one other language (French, German, Spanish or Italian).
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and CRM tools.
• Strong research, organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to give a concise elevator pitch.
