Field Sales Representative - IBM Business Unit

About the role

Arrow's enterprise computing solutions (ECS) business is a global technology enablement company that delivers value-added distribution, business consulting and channel enablement services to technology manufacturers and their channel partners serving commercial and government markets. It is looking for a Field Sales Representative with a technical background to join the Arrow ECS Portugal sales team and develop business for the IBM Business Unit in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic accounts within the IT distribution channel.
• Ensure sustainable business development with resellers, integrators and technology partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial roles within the IT distribution or technology sector.
• Technical background is a must.
• Strong knowledge of the IT distribution channel (resellers, retail, integrators, VARs).
• Proven ability to negotiate with key accounts and manage profit margins.
• Solid understanding of hardware, software and IT solutions portfolios (servers, networking, cloud, security).
• Fluent in spoken and written Portuguese and English.
• Preferred: experience with leading brands and technical training or certifications.
