About the role

ABM is seeking a Frontline Recruiter to join its centralized Talent Acquisition team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The recruiter will focus on sourcing and hiring janitorial and custodial team members across all industry groups, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with candidates via in‑person, email, text, and phone to drive the hiring process.
• Source candidates through resume searches, job fairs, college recruiting, referrals, networking, cold calling, and direct outreach.
• Manage background, drug‑screen, and motor‑vehicle paperwork using ABM‑approved systems.
• Attend job fairs and represent ABM to attract talent.
• Create and publish recruiting materials on internal and external platforms.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and track lead generation metrics.
• Assist applicants with online applications, interview scheduling, background screening, and onboarding.
• Provide employment‑related guidance to internal hiring managers and job seekers.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to align recruitment activities with broader hiring demand.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Customer‑service mindset with a proactive, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” attitude.
• Strong relationship‑building skills across the organization.
