Projects and Transformation Manager, IT

About the role

We are looking for a Projects and Transformation Manager to lead technology‑enabled business change for a globally recognised contract research organisation. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will partner with IT and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into practical technology solutions and ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business and technology projects, from planning through delivery, ensuring they are on time, within budget and generate expected value.
• Establish and maintain project governance, reporting and risk‑management frameworks.
• Manage system implementations, upgrades, integrations and process‑improvement programmes.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors to align delivery with quality, compliance and validation requirements.
• Drive change‑management activities, user adoption and benefits realisation.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Incorporate cybersecurity, data protection and privacy considerations throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex IT projects and transformation programmes.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Track record of delivering projects that meet quality, compliance and governance standards.
