Procurement Business Improvement & Strategy Manager

About the role

The Procurement Business Improvement & Strategy Manager will lead cross‑functional projects, compliance initiatives and strategic programmes to enhance Airbus Portugal's procurement function. You will work closely with the ASA Procurement strategy team and a wide range of internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the definition and implementation of the ASA Procurement strategy in line with Airbus and Airbus Aerostructures objectives.
• Manage the procurement strategy cycle, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic drivers.
• Lead or follow‑up strategic projects and management initiatives, delivering status updates and guidance.
• Create and disseminate communication materials, guidelines and awareness sessions for colleagues.
• Act as the central procurement interface for internal stakeholders and external functions.
• Identify, develop and implement improvement ideas, new processes or digital solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in procurement, supply chain, industrial engineering, business management or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in procurement, strategy development or a related area.
• Strong analytical, business and strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills across all hierarchical levels.
• Proactive, open‑minded attitude with high integrity.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
