Payroll Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an organized, analytical, detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team in Montehiedra, Puerto Rico. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate employee payroll on a regular schedule.
• Review worked hours, adjustments, deductions and other payroll incidents.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date payroll information in the HR system.
• Prepare reports and support payroll‑related reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and applicable labor regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on payroll matters.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience processing payroll, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
• Knowledge of Puerto Rico labor laws and payroll regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of confidentiality and internal customer service orientation.
