About the role

The Manufacturing Operator I – Neuro works on an assembly line that produces medical devices for neurological applications. The role involves assembling sub‑components, performing visual and microscope inspections, and ensuring each product meets strict quality and clean‑room standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble sub‑assemblies and components using hand tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
• Inspect parts and finished products visually and with a binocular microscope to detect defects, particles, or air bubbles.
• Operate machines such as infusion pump testers, leakage testers, glue dispensers, UV curing units, gauges, and silicone ovens.
• Perform re‑work on rejected lots according to QA instructions.
• Label materials and products with accurate identifying information.
• Mix liquids, coat surgical devices, and conduct non‑routine operations as specified on shop orders.
• Clean and de‑contaminate components using alcohol stations while wearing required PPE.
• Document production data on shop orders and maintain clean‑room gowning practices.

Required profile

• Ability to maintain high concentration and visual accuracy throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work on priority orders and meet productivity targets.
• Commitment to follow safety data sheets (SDS) and clean‑room protocols.
• Flexibility to shift between workstations based on production needs.

Required skills

• Binocular microscope inspection.
• Operation of infusion pump testing equipment.
• Leakage testing machine operation.
• Glue dispensing and UV curing equipment use.
• Gauge and measurement tool proficiency.
• Silicone oven curing process.
• Use of hand tools (ruler, templates, cutters, scales) for precise assembly.
