Manufacturing Engineer Trainee Internship

About the role

This 12‑month paid internship offers hands‑on experience in manufacturing engineering within Siemens Smart Infrastructure. You will work on analysing R&D product specifications, supporting change management, and driving continuous‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse R&D product specifications (mechanical parts, electrical devices, cable hardness, drawings, schematics) within the Change Management Process.
• Define and coordinate actions with a multidisciplinary team to implement changes in the production environment.
• Develop and execute continuous‑improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency and introducing new solutions.

Required profile

• Higher Technical Program or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (mandatory) and Portuguese.
• Proactive, dynamic, able to work autonomously and in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S methodologies (appreciated).
• Familiarity with CAD software (preferential).
