Manual Tester – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for a Manual Tester to join Wire IT’s remote team in Portugal. You will work on diverse client projects, ensuring software quality through thorough manual testing and close collaboration with developers and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
• Create, execute and maintain manual test scripts.
• Identify, document and report defects using Jira.
• Perform data validation and simple queries with SQL.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain test documentation in Confluence.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing.
• Fluent Portuguese; English communication a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Manual testing and test case design.
• Test script execution and bug reporting.
• SQL for simple data validation.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Agile methodologies.
