About the role

Join Vestas' Global Vessel Operations team to plan, execute and monitor the transport of oversized wind turbine components across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for coordinating trucking to ports and managing vessel operations, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery for new construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare scope of supply for transport sourcing and manage chartered vessel post‑fixture activities.
• Plan, manage and monitor trucking from production units to ports in the EMEA region.
• Coordinate vessel operations into and out of the region, including quality inspections and claim handling.
• Ensure adherence to transport budgets, evaluate supplier performance and report risks.
• Provide project budgets for shipments and develop process improvements based on daily findings.

Required profile

• Education in shipping, forwarding, maritime brokerage or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience with a major shipping player, focusing on charter execution and post‑fixture processes.
• Strong knowledge of charter parties, their structure, negotiation and application.
• Experience handling global shipping transactions and solid commercial cost‑controlling skills.
