Junior System Administrator (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a motivated Junior System Administrator to join our hybrid team in Lisbon. You will work on production Linux environments, supporting a variety of clients across different sectors while developing your technical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux servers in production.
• Configure and manage application servers such as Apache, NGINX, Tomcat, and HAProxy.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Bash or Python.
• Assist with monitoring, logging, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 1.5 years of hands‑on experience with Linux in a production setting.
• Fluent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Strong teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
