About the role

Hexa Consulting is looking for a Java Backend Developer to join its Lisbon team in a hybrid setup. You will work on high‑performance, scalable systems for near‑shore projects, collaborating with an international, cross‑functional group.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Design, implement, and optimise micro‑services architectures.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an international environment.
Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.

Required profile

Proven experience in Java backend development.
Solid knowledge of Spring Boot and micro‑services.
Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
Advanced level of English (mandatory).
