IT Support Specialist

About the role

Wysupp is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join its Porto team. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s infrastructure, network, and Microsoft 365 environment while ensuring high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and support servers, storage, virtualization and cloud resources, including backups and patching.
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls and QoS configurations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services – Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive – handling users, licenses and security policies (MFA, conditional access).
• Gather technical requirements, evaluate vendors and coordinate IT acquisitions.
• Provide advice on equipment, licences and services to meet budget and compliance constraints.
• Manage user onboarding, off‑boarding and profile configuration across internal systems.
• Oversee asset receipt, tagging, inventory lifecycle and contract management.
• Ensure service quality by adhering to SLAs and organizational standards.
• Implement and enforce security policies, reporting and escalating any violations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on IT support experience.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for IT purchasing.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and in a team.
