IT Project Manager – eBike

About the role

Join Bosch Group as an IT Project Manager for eBike solutions, driving the delivery of innovative software releases for our eBike portfolio. You will translate high‑level requirements into actionable work packages and ensure seamless collaboration across development, testing, and leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of annual eBike software releases, converting requirements into work packages for development teams.
• Create realistic project plans in partnership with developers and team leads, balancing development, testing, and system integration timelines.
• Steer agile workflows using Kanban in Jira, prioritising and tracking tasks to maintain transparency and efficiency.
• Manage software delivery for prototype phases in R&D and pre‑development, aligning base software, applications, and motor‑control domains.
• Act as the central interface between development, testing, and leadership to foster alignment and shared goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and conflicts, collaborating cross‑functionally—including with production—to resolve issues.
• Take ownership of project streams, structuring responsibilities and delivering results end‑to‑end in coordination with global teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field.
• Proven experience in software project management, preferably within embedded systems, automotive, or a high‑tech environment.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and embedded system concepts.
