IT Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the technology function for a leading construction company. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on implementation, ensuring that IT services support business objectives across office and construction site environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Directly manage an internal IT team and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
• Maintain and improve on‑premise infrastructure, including physical servers.
• Ensure continuous improvement and support of the ERP system.
• Provide IT support to end‑users and enforce cybersecurity, governance and service continuity best practices.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of IT systems on construction sites.
• Manage external service providers and monitor SLA compliance.
• Produce and present management reports using Power BI.
• Act as the primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders and the Executive Board.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Manager, Head of IT or similar senior role.
• Strong hands‑on technical background combined with strategic thinking.
• Experience in operational, industrial, construction or engineering environments.
• Previous consulting experience is a plus.
• Leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Result‑driven, pragmatic and resilient mindset.
