Internal Financial Auditor – English & French – Porto – Hybrid

About the role

Join the International Financial Performance Oversight (IFPO) team at BNP Paribas Cardif’s European Service Center in Porto. As an Internal Control Analyst you will strengthen the second line of defence for finance, ensuring robust risk management and compliance with group guidelines across international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform check‑and‑challenge reviews of finance activities, issue recommendations and define action plans.
• Coordinate the Finance second‑line‑defence teams for international markets.
• Deploy and update the internal control framework for Management Accounting at central and international levels.
• Conduct risk‑based reviews of finance processes to identify, monitor and assess financial risks.
• Draft, promote and ensure the application of internal control standards and governance memos within local finance departments.

Required profile

• Degree in Audit, Accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in internal controls or financial audit, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong understanding of audit techniques and a risk‑based approach.
