Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Greenvolt Group seeks an Internal Audit Manager to lead its internal audit function, strengthen risk management, and improve operational performance across the organization. You will work closely with business units to identify risks, execute audits, and drive practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute end‑to‑end internal audits of operational functions.
• Perform risk assessments, develop audit programs, working papers, and comprehensive reports.
• Identify organizational risks, propose actionable recommendations, and support implementation of action plans.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Conduct fieldwork including stakeholder interviews, document reviews, and testing.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders during audits, ensuring alignment on scope, findings, and actions.
• Monitor audit progress against timelines, escalating issues when necessary.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives aligned with the function’s roadmap.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Experience in a Big Four environment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Operations, or Finance.
• Proven ability to perform risk assessments and design audit roadmaps.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Analytical mindset with solid knowledge of critical business processes and internal controls.
