Innovation Project Manager

About the role

Loop Future is seeking an Innovation Project Manager to turn strategic ideas into funded, high‑impact initiatives. Working in a hybrid setting from Porto or Coimbra, you will lead the identification of funding sources and manage grant applications that support the company’s digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Identify national and international funding opportunities aligned with Loop Future’s innovation strategy.
• Manage grant applications and prepare technical and strategic documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners—including enterprises, universities, public bodies, and research entities—on innovation and R&D projects.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives related to emerging technologies and digital transformation.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and project documentation for stakeholders and funding bodies.

Required profile

• Experience in innovation management, project management, grant funding, or R&D environments.
• Educational background in Business, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong English communication skills for international collaboration.
• Bonus: Experience with European programmes (e.g., Horizon Europe, EIC, Portugal 2030) and work with universities or research institutions.
