HR Operations Specialist – French Speaker

About the role

As an HR Operations Specialist with French language expertise, you will join Thales’ HR Shared Service Center in Lisbon, supporting employees and managers across multiple countries. You will ensure a consistent, high‑quality employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees on a wide range of HR topics, adopting a people‑first approach.
• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to off‑boarding, guaranteeing smooth transitions.
• Maintain and update HR systems and employee data, ensuring accuracy, compliance and high data‑quality standards.
• Support international HR operations, including onboarding, mobility processes and day‑to‑day HR administration.
• Prepare and manage HR documentation such as contracts, letters and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and HR projects to optimise processes and enhance employee experience.

Required profile

• Degree in HR, Management or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on HR operations experience.
• Fluency in French and English (mandatory).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and empathetically with diverse stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, structured mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proactive, adaptable and solution‑driven attitude in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Required skills

• Experience with HR tools such as Workday or ServiceNow (a plus).
