Housekeeping Coordinator

About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator will oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping department at Costaterra, a private members‑only residential community in Comporta, Portugal. This role ensures the highest level of service and cleanliness across the club’s facilities while acting as a liaison with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all incoming calls and requests for the Housekeeping team, logging and communicating them promptly.
• Delegate work assignments, monitor completion, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
• Coordinate opening and closing of the Housekeeping office, daily staff schedules, public‑area inspections, and special assignments.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of housekeeping supplies and place orders as needed.
• Generate operational reports to support department planning and efficiency.
• Communicate operational issues to leadership and take proactive steps to resolve them.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and relevant legal standards.
