GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician is responsible for keeping assigned cleanroom areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The role involves maintaining a clean, orderly environment, supporting shift leads, and responding to customer requests while following strict safety and procedural guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned GMP areas, including walls, floors, windows, and equipment.
• Perform sanitization and shutdown cleaning tasks to uphold GMP control.
• Follow all customer and SBM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety policies.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and adhere to gowning procedures.
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and report maintenance issues.
• Support shift lead with punch‑list items, work orders, and internal tasks.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Act as a fill‑in for other staff during shortages and assist with area coverage.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Completion of all safety, task training, and annual qualification certifications.
• Forklift certification may be required.
