FinCrime Analyst – Porto

About the role

Deblock is looking for a FinCrime Analyst in Porto, a junior position in its first line of defence within a FinTech company. You will review and investigate fraud cases, make decisions on their outcome and escalate unusual activity to internal experts, while supporting customers and keeping them satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Review, investigate and decide on the outcome of fraud cases
• Escalate unusual activity to internal experts
• Act in line with written policies, procedures and guidelines
• Cooperate with other teams to provide efficient support and maintain customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Previous experience in Customer Support or FinCrime is valued
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently and in a team, and in rotational 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, 24/7/365

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with fintech and cryptocurrency concepts and trends is a plus
