FinCrime Analyst (Junior) - Porto

About the role

Deblock is looking for a junior FinCrime Analyst in Porto to join its first line of defence. You will review and investigate fraud cases, make decisions on their outcome and escalate unusual activity to internal experts, while supporting customers and keeping them satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Review, investigate and decide on the outcome of fraud cases
• Escalate unusual activity to internal experts
• Act in line with written policies, procedures and guidelines
• Cooperate with other teams to provide efficient support and maintain customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Previous experience in Customer Support or FinCrime is valued
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently and in a team, and in rotational 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, 24/7/365

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with fintech and cryptocurrency concepts and trends is a plus
