Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead project‑financial controlling activities. You will define financial targets, drive budgeting cycles and ensure accurate reporting across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage yearly forecasts, multi‑year budgets and quarterly forecast exercises.
• Produce consolidated financial reports, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing activities to guarantee timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain consistency and compliance of financial reporting tools and processes.
• Support project financial performance, approve purchase orders, trigger cost transfers and participate in cost reviews.
• Manage master data (CBS, WBS, cost centers) and support EAC (Estimate at Completion) processes.
• Create new projects in management tools and oversee supplier invoice approvals.

Required profile

• Business Management education in Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in financial controlling or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Ability to deliver accurate financial pictures and align domain needs with corporate financial targets.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving attitude and entrepreneurial drive.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
