Financial Analyst – Accounts Payable

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay team within Sodexo Business Services Portugal. You will support European markets by managing purchase orders, processing invoices, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and resolve PO‑related issues.
• Review, receive, and process invoices accurately and on time.
• Reconcile vendor statements, perform 3‑way match reviews, and support payment processing.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, cash reconciliation, inventory, payroll, and billing processes.
• Monitor AR aging, support collections, and identify financial risks or variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase to Pay.
• Proficiency with office applications and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.
