Executive Operations Assistant

About the role

Martinhal Resorts is seeking a dynamic Executive Operations Assistant to support management in the daily running of its Lisbon Chiado property. The role ensures seamless coordination across departments, upholds brand standards, and drives exceptional guest experiences in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist management with daily operational oversight, ensuring alignment with excellence standards.
• Coordinate and supervise operational departments, with a focus on Food & Beverage.
• Monitor guest experience across all touchpoints and intervene proactively to exceed expectations.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, brand standards, and service best practices.
• Analyse operational and financial indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Control costs and optimise human and material resources while maintaining service quality.
• Act as liaison between departments to promote collaboration and smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in 4‑ or 5‑star hotel hospitality, including Food & Beverage operations.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organisational, planning and team‑management abilities.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on cost control and guest satisfaction.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Office 365.
• Experience using hotel Property Management System (PMS) platforms.
