Ethical Auditor – Full-Time (CSCA Certified)

About the role

We are looking for an Ethical Auditor to join QIMA’s Consumer Goods Division in Portugal. The auditor will conduct on‑site inspections of supplier factories, assessing compliance with labour, health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform unannounced audits of manufacturing sites covering labour rights, health & safety, environmental security and other applicable standards.
• Identify violations, document findings and prepare detailed audit reports for clients.
• Maintain the highest level of integrity during audits, understanding the impact on suppliers, staff and clients.
• Participate in client meetings to develop custom quality‑control procedures.
• Contribute ideas to improve operational project quality.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field.
• APSCA registration at CSCA level (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of standards such as SA8000, ISO14001, ICTI, C‑TPAT, WRAP and BSCI.
• Recent experience (within 12 months) in third‑party auditing, including SMETA, BSCI, SA8000 or WRAP audits.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
