Engineering Manager

About the role

As an Engineering Manager you will drive delivery and execution of projects, translating product requirements into actionable tasks and coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery across cross‑functional teams, ensuring predictable, high‑quality outcomes.
• Evaluate business and product requirements for technical feasibility, creating EPICs and technical user stories.
• Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers and Engineers to refine, groom and prioritize the backlog.
• Plan and drive sprint execution, set timelines, milestones and surface dependencies early.
• Champion engineering processes, monitor team velocity and capacity, and manage cross‑team dependencies.
• Stay hands‑on in critical initiatives, guide design decisions, enforce sound patterns and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure robust monitoring, alerting and observability, meeting defined SLIs and SLOs.
• Partner with Product Managers to define, track and publish post‑release product metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8‑10 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years building production systems with Java and Spring Boot.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering leadership managing high‑performing teams.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience translating requirements into EPICs and user stories.
